The cake drum is a thick, aluminum-coated cardboard cake stand, usually silver, but available in other colors, 12 or 13 mm thick.

This 20 cm-diameter cake drum is a round piece of heavy-duty cardboard (1.2 cm thick) in white, which will support the weight of all your cakes without bending or warping.

It can be reused, provided you take good care of it: protect it with a thin cardboard cake stand of the same diameter as your cake when cutting.

Their use is recommended on display trays for pièces montées.
